Web Hosting with the MMRC

Getting an account:

Please call the University IT Services Help Desk at 575-2905 to request a media hosting account with MMRC.

About:

The MultiMedia Resource Center in the Gibson Annex provides web hosting for media files such as digital streaming video and podcasts.  These media files can be linked from a web site, but the MMRC media server cannot be used for web site development.

URL Example:

mmrc.uark.edu/~username where "username" is your actual UARK username. 
listen.uark.edu/pagename

Accessing MMRC:

The MMRC web hosting server (mmrc.uark.edu) can be accessed via SSH and SMB.  File transfer software downloads are available from the File Transfer page.
