Workshops FAQWho is eligible to attend? IT workshops are free to students, faculty, staff, Emeritus professors, and approved affiliates. How do I access the training schedule?
How do I register? It is strongly recommended that you register at least 24 hours prior to the workshop that you wish to attend (seating is limited). Registration is available by selecting the "sign up" link for a workshop on the training calendar, or by using the Registration link on the Training home page. How do I cancel my workshop registration? If necessary, as a professional courtesy, please cancel your registration at least 48 hours prior to the workshop. Registration cancellation is available using the link provided in the registration confirmation email, or from My Training. How do I update my profile?
My supervisor requires that I account for all training hours. Is there a way to document my attendance? IT Services offers, upon request, a personalized certificate of workshop completion. The training certificate is solely a means of demonstrating accomplishment and becomes available to participants upon successful completion of any ITS workshop. If you would like a certificate, please see the instructor at the end of your session. Is prior knowledge of the workshop topic required? Some of the IT workshops do have prerequisites. Prerequisites, if applicable, will be listed directly below the workshop description on the training website. Under certain circumstances, it is possible for an instructor to waive a workshop's restrictions. If interested, please contact the workshop instructor for permission. I would like to comment on a workshop I have attended. How should I proceed? Participant evaluation of our workshops is important to us in order to facilitate continued improvement of our program. Go to My Training. Log in using your UARK username and password. Locate the workshop in your training history and click the Leave feedback link.
