Microsoft TechNet

The Microsoft TechNet program provides technical resources that help Information Technology professionals evaluate, deploy, and support Microsoft solutions. University IT Services retains a subscription to Microsoft TechNet and provides access to the subscription as a service to the University.

To access University IT Services TechNet content:

1. Map a drive to the TechNet directory on gizmo using your UARK username:
   \\gizmo.uark.edu\TechNet
2. Open the TechNet_Viewer_Installer folder.
3. Download and install the TechNet Viewer.
4. Once installed the TechNet Viewer allows search and access of specific topics and files from Microsoft TechNet subscriptions. Please note that updates to the TechNet Viewer are released monthly.
