Guidelines for Ownership of LISTSERV ListsThe decision to approve a LISTSERV list or netnews (usenet) newsgroup is based on whether:
- the list or newsgroup will serve a distinct purpose associated with the mission and goals of the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville; and
- the list or newsgroup will not duplicate an already existing list or newsgroup.
The following individuals or groups are eligible for listserv services:
- UA faculty or staff members with approval signature from the sponsoring Department head.
- UA Registered Student Organization (RSO).
- ARKnet or community organizations associated with the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville.
All requests for new LISTSERV lists must be submitted using the Request for LISTSERV Service form linked from the Request Forms and Documents web page.
