Mass Email Distribution Policy

Email messages requiring timely notification for campus distribution must be of concern, interest, or benefit to targeted campus groups (i.e., all students, faculty, staff, or any combination of the aforementioned).  The value of such email use must be balanced against campus desires not to contribute to what is considered spam by some recipients.  Messages providing non-critical information or having alternative forms of delivery will not be approved for mass email delivery. 

Requests to send additional messages not included on the following lists should be sent to Marcia Overby (moverby@uark.edu) in the Office of the Chancellor for consideration by the Executive Committee.

Parking and Transit Information
ISIS, Registration, and Financial Information
Information regarding Tickets and time change for Sporting Events
Homecoming Schedule
UAPD Safety Announcements
Affirmative Action Announcements (as recommended by the EEOC)
