Lecture Capture

IT Services supports Echo360 Lecture Capture and manages and maintains the Echo360 Streaming Server (ESS). Content is delivered as podcast, mp3 audio Flash Video.

Individual licenses are available from Echo360.

The basic license allows you to capture audio and content from the local computer screen. Captures can be scheduled, starting and stopping at pre-determined times or the instructor can manually start and stop captures.

Content is automatically published to course/learning management systems (Blackboard).

For maximum flexibility and portability, this option can also be deployed on tablet PCs and laptops (Windows only) that can be shared among instructors or moved from classroom to classroom.

The appliance ingests feeds from all classroom technology sources -- audio, video, VGA -- in a compact unit.
