Scheduling Automatic Updates in Windows

1. Click the Automatic Updates icon in Control Panel.
2. Select Automatic: (recommended).
3. Select the default setting, Every day at 3:00 AM. If your computer is turned off during a scheduled update, Windows will install the updates the next time you start your computer. If you need to help complete the installation process, Windows will notify you (you might need to accept an End User License Agreement or restart).
4. Click OK to save the changes.
