Unix Workstation Support

Support for individual desktop Unix workstations is provided through Academic, Research, and Client Services. Our primary experience and expertise lies with the Solaris environment from Sun Microsystems. There is an academic agreement in place which provides software maintenance and discounts on hardware purchased from Sun. For a nominal fee, faculty members can obtain the latest release of Solaris (and major compilers) and assistance with installation and system administration.
