How to Create Banner-Type Entries for UA Holidays in an Exchange Calendar

Outlook (Windows)

Open the .hol file from the following link:
http://downloads.uark.edu/exchange/OUTLOOK-UA2009.HOL

Note: Firefox users will need to right-click the link and select "save link as" in order to download the file.
The "add holidays" dialogue will open in your task bar.
Check the box next to University of Arkansas and click Ok.
If you get a warning that a UA holiday set is already installed, do not install it again as it will cause duplicates.

The UA holidays from July 2009 - June 2010 are now listed in your calendar as all-day (banner) events. They all begin with "UA-" to make them easily identifiable.

Entourage (Macintosh)

Download the following file to to your computer:
https://downloads.uark.edu/exchange/ENTOURAGE-UA2009.DMG
The DMG file should open automatically.
Drag the "Entourage-ua2009.rge" file to your desktop.
Open Entourage.
Click file, then import
Select "Entourage information from an archive or earlier version".
Select "entourage archive (.rge)"
Select the downloaded file and click ok.

The UA holidays from July 2009 - June 2010 are now listed in your calendar as all-day (banner) events. They all begin with "UA-" to make them easily identifiable.
