UA Exchange Messaging Service provides an integrated email and calendaring service based on Microsoft Exchange Server 2007. Features include single sign-on with your UARK username, shared calendars, Outlook Web Access, and a 250MB quota. Exchange Messaging Service is a long-term pilot project that may require additional University funding at a later date.

Note: For Walton College of Business Exchange account requesters, you will not be able to use the WCOB network printers or files until you contact TechCenter at 5-6156.

Setup

Exchange User Account Request Form - Exchange is available to University of Arkansas faculty and staff only. In order to use Exchange, you must first activate your account. (Note: You will be asked to log in with your email address and password. ex. username@uark.edu)

Outlook Web Access (OWA) can be used to access Microsoft Exchange email, contacts, calendars, and other mailboxes, and can be used to wipe a mobile device. OWA also provides read-only access to documents stored in Microsoft SharePoint sites and network shares.
Outlook 2007 (part of the Microsoft Office 2007 system for Windows XP and Vista)
Entourage 2008 (part of the Office 2008 system for Macintosh OSX)
Windows Mobile (smart phones such as the Palm Treo 750, Samsung Blackjack, Motorola Q, Cingular 8525, or the Cingular 3125)
The Palm operating system (Palm Treo 650 and 680 series of smart phones)
Palm based phones may require additional licensed software to take full advantage of Exchange services.
iPhone with UA Email & Exchange
Please Note: Exchange services are currently not available for BlackBerry smart phones.
