Student Accounts at the U of AYou will use your UARK account username and password to access many University facilities. You can pick up your UARK username and set your password at the UARK Account Distribution Facility. Please read the Code of Computing Practices or the Summary of the Code of Computing Practices before accessing your accounts. UARK accounts belonging to graduates and students leaving the University will be purged.
Log into the mail.uark.edu email server using your UARK username and password, and read your email using an email client such as UA Mail, XpressMail, Outlook, Thunderbird, Entourage, OS X, or Pine.
Log into the Integrated Student Information System at isis.uark.edu using your UARK username and password for class registration and schedules, grades, Catalog of Studies, and Schedule of Classes. Check here for ISIS information. For help with ISIS, email isishelp@uark.edu.
comp.uark.edu is a Unix server used for personal web pages, statistical applications, compilers, MATLAB, file storage and more. Log into your comp account with your UARK username and password using SSH Secure Shell, Mac SSH, a file transfer option, or a web editor.
Active Directory
A dial-up account can be used to log in to the University modem pools using your UARK username and password for Internet connection from home.
Windows SharePoint allows you to create team web pages for document collaboration, project management, and information sharing for easier communication. It also allows users to share documents, tasks, contacts, and events. MyPoint accounts are for personal use.
MySQL is an open source relational database server available on comp.uark.edu and cavern.uark.edu. Those with a UARK account can request an account in order to access the MySQL server. Access to phpMyAdmin is provided.
